New Adventures
A few years ago, while I was a producer at Elephant Productions, I decided to spread my wings, writing and directing my first project, the documentary series Humanly Possible, produced in partnership with Recovery People. The series tells the stories of changemakers in the substance use recovery movement in Texas—the past, present, and future of recovery. After 16 years of learning from exceptional industry colleagues and developing my voice as a creative producer, I decided to strike out on my own, founding AbraLight Media as the next step in my growth and to continue the work of uplifting voices that have the power to change our world.
I believe that every individual, community, company, and organization has a story to tell, a point of view worthy of uplifting. I invite you to join us in Dallas, Texas, on September 23 and/or 24, 2026, for the premiere of Humanly Possible Episode 3 and hear from the people shaping the future of the peer recovery movement in Texas and beyond. I am very excited about this new chapter, continuing to share and always in collaboration with creative partners across the media landscape. No one can do this work alone, and I am very lucky to have met some talented individuals over my many years in the business!
One more note: a lot of thought and care went into the name of this company, AbraLight Media. Here is the short equation. If you are curious, please ask me to tell you the full origin story!!
